Firefighters_3A frontal collision between two cars this afternoon caused six injuries, two of them in serious condition, on the EN125, between Lagoa and Portimão, near Quinta dos Vales.

The accident occurred around 14:30 pm, in an area of ​​the EN125 that is under construction and does not have all the signs on the pavement.

The Fire Brigade commander of Lagoa, speaking to CMTV, said that the serious victims were a couple of octogenarian foreigners who were in one of the cars, while in the other an adult, also a foreigner, and three children were followed, four of which were considered mild victims.

The wounded were assisted on the spot by INEM, and were then transported to the Hospital de Portimão.

At the scene of the accident, there were means of firefighters from Lagoa, Portimão, Silves and Vila do Bispo. Despite the frontal shock, it was not necessary to resort to extrication.
