SAFEA foreign citizen wanted by the Indian authorities and by Interpol was arrested yesterday, Friday, in a hotel in the Algarve, announced the Foreigners and Borders Service (SEF).

In a statement, the SEF informs that the Interpol arrest warrant for extradition refers to the individual as “dangerous and violent”. The man, around 40 years old, is wanted "for homicide and bombings".

The detainee, who is in the custody of the police authorities, will be present by the SEF, this Saturday, at the Court of Appeal in Évora.
