The year 2016, in Loulé, will be welcomed with classical music. On January 1st, the Orquestra Clássica do Sul will perform two concerts, at the Cine-Teatro Louletano, at 16 pm and 18 pm, conducted by conductor Patrycja Pieczara.
The fact that, for the first time, there are two presentations of the New Year concert, is due to «the great participation and enthusiasm of the public around this New Year's show», which is already a tradition in Loulé, according to the Loulé Chamber. , which promotes the events.
«For these concerts, a program was chosen that revisits the best known works by Boieldieu, Fauré and Rossini, as well as the traditional polkas and waltzes by Strauss II. Involved by the spirit of music and a sound that transports us to the Viennese environment, the public will also enjoy the talent of the prestigious guest conductor», added the municipality.
Each presentation lasts approximately 70 minutes, aimed at the general public. Tickets cost 8 euros per person.
