The Christmas lighting, the music that will be heard these days in the Historic Center and the various initiatives promise a lively court in Lagos, with a program that starts on December 5th and continues until January 7th.
The beginning of the program is marked with the arrival of Father and Mother Christmas in Lagos, on Saturday, December 5th, at 11:00 am, next to the Christmas Tree in Praça Luís de Camões. Also this year, Mother Christmas will be here waiting for the children at the Christmas Tree, to take pictures with them and receive the traditional requests for gifts (from 7 to 23).
This year, ACRAL once again organized a Christmas Contest, which is aimed at customers with purchases made (minimum of 10 euros) in participating local stores.
The customer must place the receipt and stapled coupon in the tombola at Praça Luís de Camões. There, the participating stores and the prizes to be drawn will be advertised.
The Christmas Raffle, with awards sponsored by local businesses, is scheduled for December 23, in the same square.
For the Municipal Library, the Christmas initiative “Todos Meninos Jesus” was also programmed, which includes a Film Cycle and the holding of a Colloquium, on December 10, the date on which the International Day of Human Rights is celebrated.

The New Year in Lagos will come to the sound of one of the best music groups in the country – Expensive Soul. The show will take place in one of the most emblematic places in Lagos, Praça do Infante. The group promises a “magical” night, lively and full of good energy and vibe.
At midnight, the skies over Lagos are filled with color for the 2015 farewell and a lively entry into 2016. In the new year, the beat will be different. The renowned DJ TobyONE takes to the stage.
