Albufeira City Council created an Emergency Office to support and provide information to the public and a volunteer grant to help clean up the establishments and the public road, after the «dramatic situation that took place last Sunday in the municipality».
Interested persons should go to the Emergency Office, located in the lobby of the Paços do Concelho building, or contact the service through the numbers 289 570 722 / 289 570 718, from 9:00 am to 17:00 pm. Outside office hours, the contact number should be Azul: 808 202 274.
As for the volunteer grant, those interested in helping should go to the Albufeira Municipality Service – Balcão 1, also located in the atrium of the Paços do Concelho building, with the respective identification documents. For more information, contact the number 968339214.
It is necessary to present ID and Taxpayer Number for reasons related to mandatory insurance.

But it was also created, on Facebook, one page, in english and portuguese, which has been coordinating and centralizing information on the help needed.
According to Albufeira SOS, they are “awaiting news from the Chamber regarding a bank account to centralize all donations”.
