paul saPaulo Sá, that has just been re-elected deputy for the Unitarian Democratic Coalition (CDU), told the Sul Informação that this force will “oppose”, in Parliament, to “a PSD/CDS government solution”.

The CDU reached 8,68% of the votes cast by voters in the Algarve, being the 4th most voted force, after the PS (32,77%), the coalition Portugal à Frente (31,47) and the Left Bloc (14,13 .XNUMX%).

The communist deputy, contacted by Sul Informação, said that his re-election resulted from the «recognition, by the Algarve, of the work done over the last four years».

Paulo Sá insisted on highlighting the “substantial decline, throughout the country, of the PSD/CDS”, which, in his opinion, results from the “negative evaluation that people make of the policy developed by the previous government. They were penalized for it. They lost votes, because the Portuguese people said: enough!».

Taking into account that the parties of the Portugal à Frente coalition have already expressed "their clear intention to pursue these policies", the communist deputy re-elected for a second term by the constituency of the Algarve, in line with what has already been expressed this evening by Jerónimo de Sousa , guarantees that “a PSD/CDS government solution will not have the support of the CDU, on the contrary, we will oppose it”.

"We could never support such a government solution, when we have been fighting these right-wing policies and their disastrous consequences for the Portuguese", concluded Paulo Sá, in his statements to the Sul Informação.
