greener capThe seminar “Cultivating a greener CAP” will take place on October 23, Friday, at 18 pm, at the José Saramago Municipal Library, in Odemira, with the objective of publicizing Organic Agriculture and the support available under the new framework of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).

This is an initiative of the responsibility of Agrobio – Portuguese Association of Biological Agriculture, with the support of the Municipality of Odemira.

The opening of the seminar will count with the participation of Hélder Guerreiro, vice-president of the Municipality of Odemira, of Fernando Severino, regional director of Agriculture and Fisheries of the Algarve (to be confirmed) and Jaime Ferreira, president of the Board of Agrobio.

From 18:30 pm, the topics “Biological Food. Formation. Production and commercialization” (by António Lopes, Agrobio), “PAC and support for Organic Agriculture” (by Jaime Ferreira, president of Agrobio) and “Commercialization of AB cereals” (representative of Herdade do Carvalhoso).

After the debate, and as usual in the actions of the “Cultivating a Greener CAP” program promoted by Agrobio, there will be space for the public to learn about the National Land Exchange, with Nuno Russo, national coordinator of this measure.
