Sopa dos Artistas – Local Association of Plastic Artists will promote in Odemira, on October 17th, at 19 pm, a performative intervention to draw attention to the problem of Refugees. The aim is to denounce that “Across the world there are currently more than 00 million refugees”.
The performance will take place in the Zona Ribeirinha, next to the wharf of the Clube Fluvial Odemirense, where the play “Around the world there are currently more than 50 million refugees”, by Gonçalo Condeixa and Thomas Wimmer, within the scope of the V International Symposium on Sculpture promoted by the Municipality of Odemira.
To participate in the artistic performance, Sopa dos Artistas invited the theater groups 3 in Pipa/ Pés Descalços and Os Piscos, the Art Students from the Odemira Schools Group and EMTO – Odemira School of Traditional Music.
The initiative is supported by the Municipality of Odemira.
