Farense lost 2-1 in the visit to Famalicão field, this Sunday. The Algarvians found themselves at a disadvantage from the first minute, they still managed to draw after being reduced to ten units, but they could not avoid defeat against a team that had not won since the second round of the II league.
Famalicão entered the game winning, as in the first minute of the game Mércio put the home team ahead. Farense saw his life get complicated, with the expulsion of Harramiz, in the 32nd minute, by direct red. Still, the Algarve managed to balance the result, at 50 minutes, by Belmiro. Famalicão's winning goal was scored in the 57th minute by Mendes.
With this defeat, the club's third consecutive Faro for the II League, Farense remains with 14 points and occupies the 19th position, close to the waterline.
