This afternoon, MEPs João Ferreira and Ricardo Serrão Santos visited some Research Centers of the University of Algarve in the area of the Sea. The initiative was part of the debate “Europe and the Sea” which took place this Friday on the campus of Gambelas, in Faro (learn more tomorrow at Sul Informação).
Although, during the morning, Marinho and Pinto and Cláudia Monteiro de Aguiar participated in the debate, they did not stay for the visit to the CIMA and CCMAR laboratories, where João Ferreira and Ricardo Serrão Santos, accompanied by the dean António Branco, learned about more about UAlg's research in areas such as fisheries, climate change, or marine ecology.
