The PSP detained three people for drug trafficking, in two separate operations, carried out in Tavira and Olhão. In all, 500 doses of hash were seized.
Most of the drug was found with two of the suspects, in Olhão, on 9 September. Police surprised two young men, aged 18 and 20, trying to get rid of a package that contained enough hashish for 444 doses.
The two detainees were already mentioned for other crimes, namely theft and offenses to physical integrity, and were identified and constituted defendants subject to a term of identity and residence.
In Tavira, a 17-year-old boy was caught, carrying 56 doses of hash and a pocketknife. This operation took place this Thursday, at 15 hours.
During the night of yesterday, the PSP of Faro made arrests related to highway code violations, including a 29-year-old man driving without a license and a 35-year-old woman who was caught with a blood alcohol rate of 1,53 grams per liter.
