The PSP arrested a man in flagrante delicto for possession and trafficking of drugs, this Thursday, in Vila Real de Santo António. The police were already watching the suspect and ended up catching him selling drugs to consumers on the street.
The dealer, who had already been arrested for drug trafficking, had 18 doses of heroin with him and some money, suspected to be the result of criminal activity.
The operation, carried out by the PSP squadron of VRSA, was triggered by allegations that the 59-year-old man was dealing drugs.
The detainee is obliged to appear before the judicial authority to find out what measures of coercion will be applied to him.
