A fire consumed part of the pavilion where the «T-Rex» exhibition is on display at the Zoomarine theme park, located in Guia, Albufeira. The fire was quickly dominated by firefighters and there are no victims to mourn, nor was there a need for a total evacuation of Zoomarine, «only partial».

"The warning for the fire was given at 11:45 am, the first medium arrived at the scene around noon, and the fire was reported to have been subdued at 12:29", as he revealed to Sul Informação the District Relief Operations Command (CDOS) of Faro.

At this time, the firefighters are still in place, but "there is no risk for other structures, it was only in that pavilion." Still, a column of smoke is clearly visible coming out of the theme park. The T-Rex, the main piece of the exhibition, will have been completely destroyed.

Nine vehicles and 23 operational vehicles from the fire brigades in Albufeira, Lagoa and Silves were deployed to the site. Media from the GNR and INEM were also present.
