AWBN«Leading is serving! How do you put leadership at service?" is the theme of the next meeting of the Algarve Women's Business Network that is scheduled for this Thursday, September 24th, at the Ginásio Clube de Faro, from 18:00 am.

Carla Carvalho Dias will be the speaker, who will talk about leadership and service. According to AWBN, «Carla Carvalho Dias started her career as a public speaker about 10 years ago. Since then, he has already spoken to more than 15.000 people between lectures and workshops».

The speaker «undertakes as a life mission: “To contribute to the improvement of the service culture in Portugal and why not in the world”, having in that sense founded the Top Service Academy® and launched the SMERVE® movement».

Carla Carvalho Dias considers that «serving, more than a duty, is a privilege and, therefore, I also believe that the service culture of an organization, and why not a country, is bigger and better the bigger and better it is. the choices of each individual in relation to their way of being in life.”

She is the author of the books «Top Service – The Choice is Yours!» and “The Art of War in Customer Service”.

During this event, “all women will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the concept of slow food and the Mediterranean diet. There will also be a place for a cocktail party where women can taste the tibornas created by Slow Food Algarve and Balsa Papillar, the canned sardines by Amour Gourmet and get to know some of the best wines in the Algarve under the direction of the Wine Route», says the AWBN .

At this meeting, the social cause supported will be Animals de Rua – Núcleo de Faro. The event is free, but the organization asks for a mandatory contribution, in kind, to the social cause.

“Donations may be offered in kind: traps, carriers and cages; dog and cat food (medium quality, even if in smaller quantities) and canned food; internal and external dewormers for dogs and cats; plastic dog houses for dogs living on the street», exemplifies the AWBN.

From January to June, seven events were held in seven cities, which were attended by more than 450 women of various nationalities, and various companies and brands of products and services in the region were presented.

At these meetings, seven social causes were supported with various types of genres and €950 were collected.
