An «Aesthetic-Philosophical Tour through the Landscape» will make known the Barranco do Velho area, in the interior of the municipality of Loulé, this Sunday, 20 September.
The initiative, which included a visit to Jardim dos Filósofos, will have as a guest commentator Victor Gonçalves, from the Philosophy Center of the University of Lisbon.
The meeting point for this tour, which costs 48 euros per person and includes a «typical lunch with flavors from the Algarve mountains», is scheduled for 10 am, in Barranco do Velho.
This is another Commented Tour, which joins those that the Algarve company Requinte Turquesa has been promoting within the Algarve region, «always enhancing contact with Nature in connection with different branches of knowledge and (re)discovering the best of Region".
«The events seek to be comprehensive in terms of audience and offer, including activities such as a workshop on carob cakes under the carob trees, picking arbutus and kneading the bread as in the past. One of the next activities will be in a wine press with a tasting of the new oil (tiborna). There are other different initiatives, but all of them having the Algarve, and sometimes, Baixo Alentejo as a stage», according to Maria Luísa Francisco, responsible for the company that promotes the event.
