The PDR – Republican Democratic Party has already handed over the list of candidates for the Legislative Elections, by the electoral constituency of Faro.
The PDR is led at national level by the lawyer António Marinho e Pinto, former president of the Portuguese Bar Association, who was elected an MEP, but by the Earth Party (MPT), in the 2014 European Elections.
Marinho and Pinto walked away after that political force, but remained in the European Parliament. His new party was created in November 2014, a few months after the Europeans.
