quintanilla lucho“Pachamama – Millennial Music for Our Mother Earth”, by Lucho Quintanilla, is the event scheduled for the Chapel of Our Lady of Guadalupe, on Saturday, August 15th, at 20 pm.

Lucho Quintanilla is a Peruvian musician and composer. From an early age, his passion for music led him to explore different musical paths that led him to new ways of connecting, healing and learning.

Lucho decided to deepen his path in music and also turned it into a spiritual quest that took him on a pilgrimage and journey across several continents.

Going back to his roots in pre-Inca cultures, he discovered ancient forms of meditation and musical sounds, through ancestral organic instruments, made from pottery, bone, cane, wood and seeds, which have been used by indigenous cultures of the Andes, and mixed them together. now with contemporary sounds, creating a bridge in time.

“Pachamama – Millennial Music for Our Mother Earth” is Lucho's proposal for the Chapel of Our Lady of Guadalupe, a project that makes known not only the musical work of this artist, but also some stories of an ancient culture “told and sung ”, by the voice of Lucho Quintanilla.

Admission is free, through a "conscious donation".

This initiative is part of the Other Sounds/Music cycle at DiVaM, the program for the Promotion and Valorization of Monuments, organized by the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve, with the aim of bringing communities closer to their heritage.
