A fire, which broke out this afternoon, at 15:39 pm, is consuming weeds and cane fields in Vilamoura, close to Praia da Falésia and Lake Resort.

According to the CDOS of Faro, the fire with a front is still active and is being fought by 42 firefighters from four corporations, 11 vehicles and a helicopter.

Although the proximity to some houses is visible in the photo, the CDOS says that, for the time being, there is no house or building at risk.
