Praia Grande, in Ferragudo, hosted the 2nd stage of the 2015 National Footvolley Championship this weekend. The duo Miguel Pita and Calita, from Imortal DC, from Albufeira, was the strongest in the two days of competition.
The competition, which counts for the 10th edition of the National Footvolley Championship, had 18 pairs, 16 Portuguese and two Spanish. The final pitted the winning duo of the first stage, played in Quarteira, consisting of André Gomes and Ruben Santos (Estoril Praia), against Miguel Pita and Calita. The Immortal duo was stronger and won by two sets to zero.
The competition was organized by the National Football Federation and had the support of the Municipality of Lagoa and the Parish Council of Ferragudo.
The next stage of the National Footvolley Championship takes place next weekend in Póvoa de Varzim.
