Albufeira's GNR detained two men for drug trafficking, in different operations carried out in tourist areas of the city. This action made it possible to seize hashish and cocaine.
One of the detainees, 63, was already well known to the police, due to his criminal record. The man allegedly tried to escape when he saw the GNR patrol, but was eventually intercepted, after trying to get rid of a package with 46 individual doses of cocaine.
In addition to the drugs, the GNR seized, in this operation, "gold pieces, two mobile phones and 200 euros".
The other suspect was picked up by a patrol, which suspected the behavior of a group of people, which he approached. The GNR military eventually discovered enough hashish for 52 individual doses in one of the group's members.
In the same action, two other men were identified, who had between them 43 individual doses of the same drug.
