Local traditions and music of varied styles join hands to guarantee a four-day celebration for residents and visitors alike.

The headliners will be Rosinha, DAMA, Fado com Elas (Inês Gonçalves, Sara Gonçalves, Filipa Sousa and Teresa Viola) and HMB, but there is also space for other artists, namely Zé Anibal, Zé Manel Martins and Cristiano Martins and the band Duo Sound Rhythm.

Still in the musical field, there will be an innovation in the 2015 edition of the party, a “musical sunset” with a DJ on a boat, in the middle of Ria Formosa.

In one of these in the village that is considered the “octopus capital”, gastronomy could not be missing. Thus, in addition to a restaurant/bar inside the enclosure, there will be taverns along the waterfront next to the Ria Formosa, where exhibitors of crafts and entertainment can also be found.

There will also be sporting initiatives associated with this festival, namely the Chatinhas Race, the Corda Game, the Ribbon Tirada, the Pau de Sebo and the Boat Regattas.

On Sunday, August 9th, there are religious ceremonies, which begin with a solemn mass, followed in the late afternoon by the procession of the image of Santa Luzia, blessing of fishermen and their boats near the Pier and proclamation of the offerings. to the Men of the Sea.

The organization offers different types of tickets, from the start to entry for the four days, which costs 15 euros, for those who purchase the bracelet until the 31st of July, Friday, and 20 euros, from the 1st to the 7th of August. Daily tickets cost 5 euros, with the exception of Saturday, 8 August, the day of the DAMA concert, when the ticket costs 10 euros. Children up to 11 years old are free and teenagers between the ages of 12 and 16 pay 10 euros for four days.

Tickets can be purchased at the Santa Luzia Parish Council, at Cerâmica Capelo, at Café da Villa and at Arcada Café, all in Santa Luzia.
