The book «Arte, Tecnologia e Poéticas Contemporâneas», a publication organized by Bruno Silva and Albio Sales, will be launched on the 15th of July, simultaneously at the University of Algarve, at 15pm local time, and at the Federal University of Ceará, in Fortaleza (Brazil), at 00:11 am local time.
The initiative is the result of an intercontinental partnership, which emerges from the need to participate in the debate around art and technology.
In this sense, the Center for Research in Arts and Communication (CIAC) of the University of Algarve and the Research Group for Research in Art, Teaching and History (IARTEH) of the Postgraduate Program in Education of the State University of Ceará organized this volume, bringing together different researchers from Brazil and Portugal, with studies in the field of Arts, Communication and Education, with the aim of providing different views on current production in these areas of research.
The book «Art, Technology and Contemporary Poetics» brings together articles by several researchers and CIAC collaborators: Albio Sales, Ana Filipa Cerol, Ana Narciso, Bruno Silva, Fernando Paulino, Jorge Carrega, Mário Dominguez, Natália Laranjinha, Olivia Fernández, Pedro Cabral Santo, Rui António and Sílvia Vieira and Susana Costa.
