Figure 1Streets in the towns of Espiche and Almádena, in Lagos, are being repaved, from today until the 31st of July, with the application of bituminous mass.

According to the Municipality of Lagos, the work is focused on streets that “have difficult accessibility conditions”.

These interventions are part of the contract for the “Municipal Road Structure – Paving of Various Streets in the City and Parishes”, which was awarded for the amount of 108.490,20 euros, plus VAT, and is ongoing throughout the month of July.

In this context, the municipality has already intervened in some streets in the village of Luz and also in the city, at Rua D. Vasco da Gama.
The City Council of Lagos says it is "aware of the inconvenience that these works cause to residents and users of the streets to intervene", and therefore "calls for the understanding and collaboration of everyone in the course of these works".
