Alameda Beer Fest3The 8000 glasses with the official logo of the Alameda Beer Fest sold out on the second day, forcing the organization to buy more glasses, now without the festival's brand. The two Algarve brewers, producers of “Marafada”, from Algoz, and “Moura”, from Tavira, ran out of production and yesterday had to close the shop.

Two facts attest to the success of the first edition of the International Festival of Beers and Craft Brewers, which took place from Friday to Sunday, at Jardim da Alameda, in Faro.

After the floods on Friday and Saturday, the last night, yesterday, was also well composed, especially with many families - with baby carriages, fathers, mothers, children and grandparents -, giving the note of the relaxed atmosphere that if you lived in this Beer Fest, where, despite the beer being the central theme, there were no drunks to regret.

Joaquim Guerreiro, one of those responsible for the organization, confirmed to the Sul Informação the good numbers of this festival, organized by the Municipality of Faro, OG & Associados and the municipal company Ambifaro- Management of Municipal Equipment.

The assembly of the Alameda Beer Fest had the following sponsors: Ana Aeroportos- Aeroporto de Faro, Docapesca-Portos e Lotas, My Choice Algarve, Toyota, Turismo de Portugal and AIHSA- Association of Hotel and Similar Industries of the Algarve.
