The Garland Group, one of the main national shipping, transport and logistics companies, with almost 240 years, has opened a new branch in Portimão.
With this investment, Garland Navegação covers the entire Portuguese territory, with its own offices in the main maritime terminals, in order to offer permanent services in Lisbon, Leixões and, from now on, in the south of the country.
The Group's most recent delegation guarantees a complete solution that will serve all ports in the Algarve region, specializing in serving small ships and yachts.
Garland certifies the execution of all port operations, which include customs, pilots, authorities, dry dock, garbage and insurance inspections, as well as the refueling of fuel and other goods.
In the nautical sector, in addition to transporting vehicles, Garland also provides services to cruises, yachts and general cargo ships, also having experience in servicing and supplying warships, oil tankers, container carriers, bulk carriers, refrigerated ships and other vessels of special projects.
With the main mission of ensuring an excellent service, the Garland Group has more than two centuries of experience in servicing ships, distinguished by continuous records, given its quick and effective response to customer needs.
The Group, which in 2014 had revenues of 98 million euros, estimating a global growth of 6% for this semester, last year sold around 674 ships, with 195 TEUs.
