doctor2Of the 64 vacancies for doctors open throughout the country, 14 will be allocated to the Local Health Unit of the Alentejo Coast (ULSLA). Pediatrics and Psychiatry are the specialties that have the largest number of vacancies in the competition.

ULSLA thus has «a new opportunity to strengthen the provision of hospital healthcare, since the Regional Health Administration of Alentejo published, on June 26, in Diário da República, a simplified recruitment procedure for staff doctor, in the hospital and public health areas, in a
total of 64 jobs'.

The ULSLA received 14 places in the specialties of Cardiology, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Orthopedics, Pediatrics and Psychiatry.

The last two specialties have three vacancies each to fill and Internal Medicine has two vacancies up for competition.

For the President of the ULSLA Board of Directors, Jorge Sanches, «the opening of these competitions by ARSA means an enormous potential gain in the provision of differentiated care to the 100 users in this region. Therefore, we are committed to filling these vacancies, seeking to create the best working conditions for candidates».
