Alcantarilha will receive on June 6th, starting at 17 pm, the 00th Meeting of Academic Tunas – Alcantuna. Feminis Ferventis (UAlg), Tunabebes (UAlg), Tualle (INUAF) and Tasca (Male Tuna by IPS ESCE, from Setúbal), are the participating groups that will take the stage of the Sociedade Recreativa Alcantarilhense at 5 pm.
The event begins with a parade by the Philharmonic Band of the Casa do Povo of Alcantarilha, Pêra and Armação de Pera, followed by an outdoor mass at 18:00.
The event, which is co-organized by Sociedade Recreativa Alcantarilhense and the Municipality of Silves, also includes musical entertainment with Nuno Balbino and “comes e bebes”. Admission is free.
