A 33-year-old man was detained by the Southern Directorate of the Judiciary Police, for the alleged commission of a crime of raping a minor under 14 years of age, the PJ announced today.
According to a note from the Judiciary, the suspect took advantage of "the close relationship with the victim" and, inside a house in the Albufeira area, "compelled her to have sexual relations with him".
The detainee will now be present at the first judicial interrogation.
