image001The International Children's Song Festival “Chaminé D'Ouro” will return to Portimão on July 4th, at TEMPO – Teatro Municipal de Portimão. The event, which is in its XXXI edition, is organized by the Parish Council of Portimão in partnership with Rádio Alvor.

The XXXI edition of this festival, aimed at children from all over the country, aged between 5 and 15 years, takes on stage eight new songs, divided into two levels - children and youth and eight versions, which will be evaluated by a jury, that will have between the judges Luís Jardim and the singer Viviane.

According to the organization, the event "encourages the appearance of new talents" and "serves as a launching pad for those taking their first steps in the world of music." The Festival's children's choir, composed of around 30 children, under the responsibility of Maestro António Alves, will accompany the participants.

The Festival's presentation is in charge of Júlio Ferreira and Isabel de Sousa.

Among the guests are the national youth champion/initiated pair of ballroom dancing Edmundo Inácio and Maria João, students from the Boa Esperança Atlético Clube Portimonense Ballroom Dance School and Viviane.

Although admission is free, it is mandatory to pick up tickets at the TEMPO ticket office, from today, June 30th until July 3rd, between 13:30 pm and 18:30 pm.
