The City Council of Aljezur decided today, at its City Council meeting, to allocate a new subsidy, this time in the amount of 30.000 euros, for the 1st phase of the construction of the Parish Church of Rogil.
In September of last year, the Chamber had already decided to award a subsidy of 25.000 euros.
The land, with 1.365 square meters and located in the so-called Loteamento Rogil Sul, where the Church is being built, was also provided by the municipality free of charge.
The local authority stresses, in a press release, that "this support, deliberated today, corresponds to the expectation and yearning of all the people of Rogil: the construction of the new Church, which will have Deacon Saint Vincent (Martyr) as patron."
