PZ is back to Faro and presents “Mensagens da Nave-Mãe” live this Friday at 22:30 pm at Sociedade Recreativa Artística Farense. Before, at 21:30 pm, the musician presents in format ShowCase at Fnac do Fórum Algarve and, on the following day, at 17 pm, it repeats the same format at Fnac do Algarve Shopping, in Guia.
It was just over a year ago that PZ took to the stage 'd' Os Artistas in a concert that he now remembers as special: «I wasn't expecting so many people, I met a lot of interesting people and it was a very fun environment with lots of smiles in the guy". The concert took place at Os Artistas on April 19 of last year.
With a new album in the bag, PZ promises that there is no opportunity for a concert like this «because it would become boring». In addition to the “Mensagens da Nave-Mãe”, PZ will present some new songs in a format that “fits the space perfectly”.

As for the clothes chosen for the occasion, pajamas are once again the winner and are presented as a garment that personifies absolute comfort. Seen as a work tool, PZ explains that pajamas reflect the environment in which he finds himself when making music. But also at concerts, pajamas have their place of prominence since «with them I'm comfortable, that makes perfect sense to me and the ideal is to be able to extend the feeling of comfort to the audience». 
For Friday night, PZ invites the public to take off their pajamas and share with RUA FM and with Sul Informação which does not yet know if it will offer a 50% discount on entry to anyone wearing pajamas but «in principle yes, and soon I will have news».
As for “Mensagens da Nave-Mãe”, released on April 27, successor to “Rude Sofisticado”, “Anticorpos” and also the collaborations with dB on the themes “Cara de Chewbacca” or “Tu é my gaja”, PZ he admits that he is very happy with this third album and «seeing it from the outside seems to me a natural evolution of my work».
If we take a trip through some of Paulo Zé Pimenta's themes, the "Croquetes" give way to a "Trinca na Chamuça", from "Cara de Chewbacca" we move on to "Bestas" or from "Sem Ponta Por Onde Se Pegue" in one to the “Collapse In Water Bath”. PZ is back to the most mundane themes, not forgetting the influence of the family, the unbeaten city and Famalicão. He explains that «some themes are a little more introspective, like the case of “Collapse In Bain-marie”, whereas the theme “Beasts” is a vision I have when I wake up with “Neura” and deep down I think this work is a mix between the “Rude Sophisticated” and the “Antibodies”.»
I think irony is always a good weapon to lighten up all the issues that can gnaw our heads
Between the lines of the new record we find the actuality, the common concerns but also the unavoidable irony immersed in the philosophy to which he has become so well used with the necessary dose of humor and a dash of seriousness. In PZ, the fun factor is a sense of order and he adds that “I like that people have fun listening to my music but that they also have fun in a serious way. I have fun deconstructing the seriousness of the world and I think irony is always a good weapon to lighten up all the issues that can gnaw at our heads», he concludes.
Basically, PZ is this. “100% natural, it's 100% artificial. It's essential. It's a superficial mixture. It's a kind of morning mixture, it's a kind of animal posture. It's 10% sentimental”. (In "100% Natural")
