Road Show POSEUR_V 173New competitions for applications to European funds, in the water sector, namely for projects linked to the improvement of quality and the urban cycle, will open from June.

The announcement was made by Helena Azevedo, president of the Steering Committee of the Operational Program for Sustainability and Efficiency in the Use of Resources (PO SEUR), at a clarification session that took place this Monday, in São Brás de Alportel.

This meeting, hosted by the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission, aimed to «educate potential beneficiaries about the strategic objectives that will be included in the notices of open competitions and others already open, as shown in the calendar of the Portugal 2020 portal, some with direct application in the territory of the Algarve».

«CCDR Algarve has made an effort to bring to the Region the best interlocutors to debate in the Algarve the different instruments with investment capacity in the Region. A dynamic that involves running the region from end to end. That's how it was with the sessions we've already held in Faro, Albufeira, Vila Real de Santo António, Lagos and now it is in S. Brás», illustrated the president of the CCDR of Algarve David Santos, during the Monday session.

The current initiatives take place within the framework of the regional roadmap for CRESC ALGARVE 2020 and will continue in the coming months. The purpose is to publicize the set of European Community Funds available for the period 2014-2020 and to mobilize demand.
