solidarity candle_2The duo João Pinto and Guilherme Ribeiro, from Vela Solidária and Yacht Club at the Marina de Portimão, was unbeatable and won all the regattas of the series in Access 303, taking home the 1st place prize, in the 2nd National Qualification Competition of the Acces class , played over the weekend in Cascais.

In 2nd place were Pedro Reis and André Bento, from Clube Naval de Cascais, and in 3rd Carlos Alberto Araújo and Ana Cunha, also from CNCascais.

In Access 2.3, José Luís Cavalheiro from CVVCastelo won, followed by Luísa Graça and Pedro Carvalho, both from SCPorto.

The results of the athletes of Vela Solidária/ICMP were satisfactory, with João Silva finishing the race in 8th place, Noel Coelho in 5th place and Luís Ramalho in 4th in General.

The 2nd National Qualification Test of the Acces class, which took place in Cascais, had the presence of 24 sailors distributed in two classes, 303 in doubles and 2.3 in singles.

It was a championship with unstable wind conditions on the first day of the race, but favorable on the second, having held five races over the two days of the race.

Vela Solidária participated in this competition with five sailors representing the Yacht Club Marina de Portimão.

The Access 2015 National Championship takes place on the 12th, 13th and 14th of June, at the Marina de Portimão.
