PassportsThis is good news for anyone who wants to travel to Angola, whether for tourism or business travel. The African country has just made available, through its diplomatic network, new accesses and terms of stay, with multiple entries.

According to the Consulate General of Angola in the Algarve, the new visas are available as of today, 25th of May, thus starting the concession of tourist visas and ordinary visas that will allow multiple entries into the country.

The institution highlights the creation of two new types of non-extendable visas, an ordinary visa for 90 days (cost of 250,60 euros) and a tourist visa that allows a stay of 60 days (120,60 euros).

In addition to these, there were already two extendable visas: an ordinary 30-day visa (valued at 120,60 euros) and a 30-day tourism visa (valued at 90,60 euros).

The Consulate General of Angola in Faro – whose headquarters are located at Av. Calouste Gulbenkian – has already made it known that it will be available for any clarification, within its office hours (Monday to Thursday from 09:00 am to 16:00 pm and on Fridays until 15:00 pm) or by telephone , through the number 289 897 100.

There is also information about visas on the website of the Consulate of Angola at Faro, available in www.consuladogeralangola-faro.PT/ or even through your Facebook page.

The availability of the new visas had already been announced in February by Angola's Minister of Interior, Ângelo Veiga Tavares. The official also announced that the RAPID system will now come into operation at the 4 de Fevereiro International Airport, in Luanda.

RAPID will allow Angolan citizens and foreigners covered by the different existing agreements to cross the border (in and out), automatically, in about 15 seconds.

In addition to providing new deadlines, multiple visas are particularly useful for those who are planning to travel to Angola, but wish to visit or do business with neighboring countries, such as Zambia, Namibia or the Democratic Republic of Congo, crossing the country's borders, or even to be able to use Angola as a stopover for a short stop and be able to return to the country during the period of validity of the visa.
