The city of Albufeira will celebrate World Children's Day with various activities, which take place on May 30th and June 1st, at Lídia Jorge Municipal Library and at the city's Parque Lúdico.
On May 30, in the morning (11:00 – 12:00) the children will have at their disposal at Lídia Jorge Municipal Library the “Atelier Mini-Cupcakes Chefs”, where they will learn how to make their own cupcakes through the knowledge they have acquired and their own. creativity.
In parallel, there is the “Atelier de Super Sticks”, where the little ones can create their super hero and their favorite character, and also the “Atelier de Pautoches”.
In the afternoon (14:30 – 17:00) the activities are more diversified and include theatricalization of stories, repetition of the workshops that took place during the morning, entertainment with games and music, face painting and a shared snack.

On June 1st, from 9:15 am to 12:00 pm and from 13:30 pm to 16:00 pm, the Municipality celebrates the date with various activities in the Parque Lúdico, aimed at children in pre-school and elementary schools in the municipality.
From 18:00, at the same location, the Municipality will promote the delivery of the book “O Sonho da Mariana” to babies born in Albufeira, between May 2014 and May 2015.
