Finally, on Saturday, the 23rd, it will be up to the Ideias do Levante Choir, the Grupo Filarmónica Silvense Choir and the Grupo Coral dos Loureiros to close the XVII Coral de Lagoa Week, in the Municipal Auditorium of Lagoa, at 17:00. The culmination of the show will take place with the interpretation, together, of the three choirs.

The Coral de Lagoa Week is, according to José Carlos Bago d'Uva (mentor of the initial project), «a meeting open to the sharing of musical experiences and unforgettable moments of conviviality, it is the annual occasion on which the Municipality of Lagoa makes sound “ to 4 voices” the (en)/singing of vocal polyphony, by lands “of Levante”».

For José Carlos, this date already represents «a milestone in the circuit of choral events in our country, of which he is proud to have contributed to its genesis. Many were those who have already left their voices “deposited” in the mythical cistern of the Convento de S. José (in the first editions…) and also those who contribute to enhance the city's auditorium, making their emotions heard through the choral repertoire that they work with dedication and enthusiasm».

All concerts are recommended for people over 6 years old, limited to the existing capacity and are free of charge. Coral Week is promoted by Ideias do Levante Association and by the Chamber of Lagoa.
