“Urban Rehabilitation? Or Archeology and Museums?” is the theme of the third edition of Forum 21, which will take place at the Espírito Santo Church, in Moura, next Friday, April 10, between 9:30 am and 19:30 pm.
What city do we have? What city do we build? What is the role of heritage in the cultural, social and economic development of a place? What vision of the urban space times/do we want for the future? These are some of the issues that will be debated in this initiative, promoted by the Municipality of Moura.
Two dozen technicians involved in projects in this area participate in the III Forum 21. There will be four round tables with different themes. Architects, engineers, art historians, archaeologists, cultural managers and programmers, as well as mayors of Moura will be involved.
Among the guests are Ana Paula Amendoeira, regional director of Culture of the Alentejo, Conceição Lopes, professor at the University of Coimbra, and António Lamas, president of Centro Cultural de Belém.
