GNR Albufeira detained two brothers, aged 19 and 22, yesterday morning for the crime of robbery by tossing. The two men assaulted and stole a mobile phone from a 19-year-old tourist in one of the main tourist areas of the city.
The GNR was alerted, at 4:10 am, to a situation of contempt next to a night entertainment space caused by the cell phone theft.
In possession of the description of the perpetrators of the crime, "a few minutes later", the military located and intercepted the two men who were walking in a street a few meters from the place of the robbery, in the company of a third person.
The two brothers were recognized by the tourist and the GNR retrieved the cell phone that had been hidden near the location of the robbery.
The detainees, residing in Albufeira, were already referred for the commission of the same crime and were presented to the Department of Investigation and Criminal Action of Albufeira to apply the coercive measures.
