The second edition of the Feira do Campo, scheduled for the 27th of April, in the village of Furnazinhas, in the parish of Odeleite (Castro Marim), is an invitation to come into contact with nature and with the uses and customs of local people.
The initiative starts at around 9:30 am with the walking tour “Caminhos das Furnazinhas”, a route of about eight kilometers, where participants will have the opportunity to walk the cobbled streets, appreciate the schist houses of the village and also discover the old copper mines nearby.
In the afternoon, Furnazinhas is filled with knowledge and flavors, where you can learn how to make bread in a wood oven, goat cheese and other traditional arts and crafts.
In addition to the activities, various exhibitions take place, featuring local products, agricultural and ornithological species and photography.
Among the activities, a highlight is donkey rides, which are one of the biggest attractions for the little ones. Street entertainment and a dance with “Grupo + 2” will give rhythm to the event.
The “Feira do Campo” in Furnzinhas is organized by the local population with the Parish Council of Odeleite, in collaboration with Associação Odiana and Associação Alcance, and has the support of the Castro Marim City Council.
