It's an exhibition, but those who visit it can also experience much of what the Algarve Nature Tourism companies have to offer. The Algarve Nature Week Nature Tourism Exhibition started this Friday, at Parque Ribeirinho de Faro, and will last until Sunday.

This fair, which brings together companies and entities in the region related to this niche in the tourism sector, intends to be much more than a simple showcase of what the region has to offer. The idea is to allow visitors to live these experiences.

“There is a great concentrated diversity here. Until Sunday, at 18 pm, you can do a little of everything. From the bike ride, to the baptism of diving, in a swimming pool that we set up here for that purpose, through donkey rides, horseback riding, boat rides and bird watching. I would say that everything that is possible to do in the Algarve, in terms of activities related to nature, is represented here», described Duarte Padinha, from the Algarve Tourism Region, to Sul Informação.

“This show is the culmination of a week of activities. During the nine days of Algarve Nature Week, people, through companies and a dedicated website, were able to access the special offers that we launched this week», added Duarte Padinha.

«In this show, we tried to aggregate this offer. We have had the best of receptions. Many schools, many tourists and anonymous citizens, who have asked us for information and flocked to the Passeio Ribeirinho here,” he said.

It's the "feedback of companies has been good”, guarantees the member of the organization, in charge of RTA, in partnership with multiple entities, so the “perspectives are the best” for the Exhibition of Nature Tourism.

By mid-afternoon this Friday, the first day of the exhibition, «about 400 people» had already passed through the venue. Many of the visitors who have visited the venue so far are students from schools in the region, who visited the event as part of a partnership between the organization and the Regional Directorate of Education of the Algarve.

In addition to the Nature Tourism experiences, visitors can also visit an area dedicated to Algarve handicrafts and discover what different companies from across the region have to offer in the area of ecotourism.
