A man was detained by the GNR of Faro, for illegal possession of weapons, following the investigation of a complaint of domestic violence.
Military personnel from the Research and Support Center for Specific Victims (NIAVE) and the Detachment for Intervention of Faro found assorted weapons in a search they made of the 38-year-old suspect's home this Monday.
The GNR found "an illegal 12-caliber shotgun, a converted alarm pistol, with a .22-caliber magazine and ammunition, two alarm pistols, two daggers, 528 12-caliber cartridges and 165 fulminants."
The man is being presented to the Department of Investigation and Criminal Action of Faro to find out which coercion measures he will be subject to.
