The Aliens and Borders Service (SEF) identified and notified seven workers from an agricultural holding to leave the country. Faro, who are in an illegal situation in our country, as a result of an inspection carried out.
The workers were placed on the farm by a temporary work company, an employer that, together with the farm that took in illegal aliens, now incurs a fine ranging between 4 and 15 thousand euros.
«At a time of year when the need for labor for agricultural services in the Algarve is increasing, the SEF will intensify inspection actions with a view to preventing and combating possible situations of use of the activity of foreigners in illegal situations and trafficking of human beings for labor exploitation», announced this security service, in a statement.
