Four refrigerated trucks belonging to the transport company Bolicarga were destroyed by fire this morning in the Industrial Zone of Vilamoura.
The alarm was given at 2:31 am, and the fire was fought by the Loulé Fire Department, who declared it extinguished at 3:25 am, he told the Sul Informação source of the District Relief Operations Command (CDOS).
The four trucks burned at Gelgarve's premises, in the Vilamoura Industrial Zone, where Bolicarga, which is headquartered in Boliqueime, leased space.
The incident mobilized a total of 20 operatives to the scene, supported by eight vehicles, including two from the Loulé Fire Department and the rest from the GNR.
In addition to the substantial material damage, as the heavy goods vehicles were heavily damaged, there were no victims to mourn.
Authorities are now investigating the causes of this fire.
