Grupo Coral Adágio will interpret Stabat Mater, by João Rodrigues Esteves, on Good Friday, at 21 pm, at the Igreja Paroquial de Estômbar. The Easter Choir Concert begins at the end of the Via Sacra.
Grupo Coral Adágio was born in Portimão, in September 1989 and its artistic director is Maestro António Alves Alferes Pthreshing floor.
Its main objective has been «always the dissemination of quality choral music, through a very varied repertoire that includes pieces from the Renaissance to the present, from sacred polyphony to black spirituals, passing through popular music, Portuguese and other countries».
