The Algarve Tourism Association (ATA) returns to the London International Dive Show (LIDS), thematic diving fair that takes place in Excel, London, on the next 14th and 15th of February.
In this edition of the event, ATA invites visitors to "dive" into the underwater world of the region through a stand (nr.661) decorated with an image of the Algarve seabed, exploring the fauna and flora in an original and appealing way. and all the elements that make up this unique environment, characteristic of the region.
The stand will contain the most relevant information for the practice of diving, through a map that identifies the main underwater points of interest.
«The presence at this fair continues the objective of promoting this emerging product, whose representativeness has been reaching expressive values, showing that it is increasingly possible to capture the attention of enthusiasts and curious people from around the world and positioning the region as a destination for reference for the practice of underwater tourism», stresses the ATA.
A LIDS is considered one of the most influential fairs in Europe when it comes to diving. As the Algarve is a destination endowed with a highly qualified tourist offer, this will be «another excellent opportunity to enhance the image of the region as a European and international tourist destination of reference for the practice of this modality».
Simultaneously and at the same venue as LIDS, the London Active/Outdoor Show will take place, which will help to broaden the scope of publicizing the destination to lovers of other activities related to Nature Tourism, a product with an increasingly strong presence in the region .
