Young people from the Algarve with an artistic streak will be able to show their skills at the XIII Festival of Children's and Youth Arts in Albufeira. The competition modalities will be music (instrument), singing, dance (modern, classical, traditional and ballroom), illusionism and circus arts.
The Festival is open to all interested parties, aged between 6 and 17 years, natives or residents of the Algarve region.
Entries must be delivered by 15:00 pm on February 24, at the Tourism, Economic and Cultural Development Division of Albufeira City Council, located at Lídia Jorge Municipal Library.
Participants will be divided into two strands, from 6 to 11 years old and from 12 to 17, being able to compete in a maximum of two sports. The event will take place between the 7th and 21st of March, at the Municipal Auditorium, and the qualifiers are scheduled for the 7th and 14th of March. The final is on the 21st.
In this Arts Festival, the first three classified in each aspect will be distinguished with monetary prizes.
