The village of Paderne, in the interior of the municipality of Albufeira, continues, until Sunday, January 4th, steeped in medieval times.
This is the historical recreation that every year, around this time, attracts thousands of visitors, from 1 to 4 January, between 12:00 and 21:00.
The old center of Paderne has been transformed into a medieval market, where there is no lack of stalls and stalls with delicious gastronomic delicacies, ancient arts and crafts, exhibitions and musical performances alluding to the time.
The highlight of the event took place yesterday afternoon, with the historical procession that portrayed the ceremony for the delivery of the Letter of Donation from the Castle of Paderne, by D. Dinis, to the Order of Avis. But until Sunday, always from noon onwards, entertainment is guaranteed.
