Poster-24-webThe Parish Council of Almancil and the Olhos da Juventude Association join forces for a conference that, based on the example of the Administrative Reform of the Municipality of Lisbon, aims to debate the process of decentralization of competences between Municipal Councils and Parish Councils.

At issue is Law 75/2013 which provides for the transfer of certain powers from the Chambers to the Boards.

The initiative will take place on the 24th of January, at 14 pm, in the Auditorium of the Basic School Dr. António de Sousa Agostinho, in Almancil.

The conference will be attended by the councilor of the Department of Urban Hygiene and Proximity Structures of the Lisbon City Council, Duarte Cordeiro, the president of the Campolide Parish Council, André Couto, the AMAL executive secretary, António Eusébio, and the president of the Almancil Parish Council, Joaquim Pinto.
