David Santos, president of the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission, met this Tuesday with the Korean ambassador to Portugal, Yoo Jung-hee and the second secretary Consul, Oyeon Kim, at the premises of that body, in Faro.
At the meeting, economic, social and environmental issues were addressed, explained through a brief diagnosis of the Algarve.
On the occasion, David Santos «talked about ongoing investment projects and actions under the community program in the Algarve region, which, based on a stronger, competitive, inclusive and sustainable socio-economic territorial model, will allow the Algarve to become a more dynamic and with greater capacity to receive more tourists, in safety, with good health care, with better infrastructure and equipment», revealed the CCDRA in a press release.
David Santos considered this meeting to be very important, as the Algarve region thus consolidates the friendly relations between the two countries.
