The District Championship leader lost for the second consecutive game at home. This Saturday, Lagoa visited the Municipal Stadium of Almancil and surprised Almancilense winning by 0-2, in the 10th round of the District.
Pedro Rodrigues, in the first-half, with a penalty, and João Almeida, midway through the second-half, scored the goals that defeated the team coached by Jorge Veríssimo. Almancilense attacked more, but Lagoa was more effective and Jemba was sent off, when the home team was already trailing 0-2. further complicated the recovery of the result.
The leader's defeat was not fully enjoyed by Moncarapachense, who did not go beyond a XNUMX-XNUMX draw at Esperança de Lagos. The difference between first and second is now three points, with the third-placed team, Culatrense, thrashing Odiáxere and “sticking” to second place.
Padernense, who occupied fourth place, lost against Quarteira and took a “fall” in the table, now being in eighth place.
